In plain words
It is because unity has declined today in all these countries that we are falling into so many kinds of turmoil. If there are five people in a house, there are five feelings among the five. Rather than teaching outside, we must first develop unity at home. Then alone do we gain the fitness to speak outside. So I hope that, along with this unity, you will cultivate your conduct on the right path and through it make a fitting effort to teach the students.
In the Sai Organisations there must be no feelings of difference of any kind. And so we must win fitting welfare for this country. Today wherever you look there is unrest, wherever you look there is fear, wherever you look wickedness has broken out greatly. To quench this, through our principle of Prema we must bring the practice of peace into the country. Above all, for the people who have come from abroad: you must take note of a very important matter. Not only in these foreign countries; in Bhārata too it has been growing. You must first take up the way by which these little children will not use drugs. Through this even their natural wits are ruined. Through that they lose humanness itself. Though you teach such people ever so much, there is no benefit. So you must teach the children well what harm and what loss come from these drugs. You must strive ever so much to have it given up as far as possible. To teach the children in that way, you must first give up those drugs somewhat. Then alone will you be people who have the authority to tell the children. So when you take great care in this kind of matter, the country will be very much the better.
For three more days we have to consult a great deal about these Human values. Some teachers have some doubts. If you write these doubts down and keep them by you, when the chance comes again I shall clear those doubts completely. Whatever problems you have, I shall clear them easily. But do not keep those doubts in your minds and make an effort to nourish them. Only when doubt is cleared does serenity come to you. Saṃśayātmā vinaśyati. Those who have this doubt cannot go forward at all.
