In plain words
This world is the step-by-step evolutionary unfolding of nature
The state of completeness comes to us only in this upper region. This is a flower. When it is born, it is a bud. While it is a bud, its scent is of another kind. By nature's evolution, by the time it gradually comes to its complete state, the fragrance in it too turns into a sweet perfume. As it grows and grows, its sacredness keeps growing. This evolution is there for every thing, every person and every matter. The form of a child just born is different. Then the name, too, is different. That infant we call a baby: Child. As the child grows little by little in keeping with nature's evolution, by the time it reaches ten years its name changes too. Then we call him Boy. Growing on further, by the time he reaches thirty years we call him Man. Finally, by the time he reaches 75 years we call him grand father. In this way, following evolution, names and forms too keep changing.
So the mind that was in the first state, through the state of evolution, turns into Supermind. Then it comes to be higher mind. Then it comes to be Intellectual mind. But what is in all of these is one! Child, man, grand father: one single person! That is oneness. All these are forms of evolution. So this world is the step-by-step evolutionary unfolding of nature. All this consciousness is nothing but the consciousness of the substance of Brahman!
Embodiments of Prema! Make the effort that is needed for every person to taste this consciousness of the substance of Brahman. That is Satya. That is Jñāna. That is the Infinite. So set about recognising, to some extent, this infinite principle. If the mind, step by step, keeps doing some sādhanas on the divine path, the sacred path, it moves from its first place to a sacred place. For what purpose was nāmasmaraṇa instituted?
