All these are sugar toys. That sugar is the substance of Brahman. Evolution is natural! But the sweetness within it, too, is natural to it! In this way the body that evolves experiences complete divinity. However long it goes on, it is not enough for us to sit in this primary class doing a few sādhanas. We must strive to go, step by step, to a higher level. This consciousness made a leap, merely from matter up to life. From life up to mind, this principle of Brahman made leaps. If it stops right there, man is not complete. He must reach the goal he has to reach. He must leap again, and go on with his journey from that principle of the mind to the divine mind, and from the divine mind to Saccidānanda. We must not take these ever-changing things as our support. If we do, we will have to meet with many kinds of troubles. We must establish a relationship with the principle that is the foundation of everything.
Today we must undertake research into what lies beyond matter
Every human being must keep raising his level of sādhana up to over mind, the best and most sacred upper region. This is called ‘vijñānamaya’. Super intellectual mind: this is what is called the vijñānamaya kośa. We must enter this vijñānamaya kośa. The science of today is not this. Modern science is the science of research into matter. But Super intellectual mind is the way of research into what lies beyond matter. Today we must carry out research into what lies beyond matter. That is the true vijñānamaya kośa. If we become complete in that vijñānamaya kośa, that itself is the ānandamaya kośa. That is what is called Super conscious mind. We must attain that kind of state. This is a very easy path. You may think it hard, but it is only because you do not make the effort that it seems hard. Make the effort. Listen to my words. Follow that. I will show it. But if you only listen to the words and do not put them into practice, you cannot reach the goal.
