In plain words
Yato imāni bhūtāni jāyante. All creation, all sustenance, all dissolution: one single seat. For the creation, sustenance and dissolution of the world, the one divinity is the basis. The spider brings forth the thread from itself alone, builds itself a house with that very thread, and then draws that same thread back and merges it into itself; just so, man brings forth his resolves from himself, gives his resolves the form of action and lives by them, and afterwards merges those resolves back into himself. For his own creation, his own life and his own dedication, resolves alone are the root cause.
Here we have started a course called the M.B.A. The meaning of the word M.B.A. is simply Master of Business Administration. Master of Business Administration: you must clearly recognise that its inner sense and inner meaning lie within these very words. The first word is Master; master of what? Business Administration. What is this Business Administration? In the world, all that each man does from the moment he is born till he comes to his end is business itself. That is, what is it? Vyāpāra, as we say in Telugu. A dealing of giving and taking is what they call vyāpāra. Through it we hope some comforts will come to us, some income, some kinds of advantage. It is not only trade in certain goods. In daily life, moment by moment, it is as a trade that we live. What is Administration? That is, it means a safekeeping laden with responsibility. Rights and Responsibility. Within this principle we must become Master. Today we have given ourselves the name Master, yet we pursue this education as Servent or as slave. Every man must become a Master. What does Master mean? What qualifications must there be to become this Master? Master means Manager. An owner. A lord. We must become a manager. The word Manager has the spelling MANAGER. Seven letters. The seven notes. These are the seven sounds. The seven seas. The seven ṛṣis. If we understand these seven well, we can become not merely the manager of one factory but a universal manager.
