What is the manomaya? In what way should we set the mind on its course? Man's journey goes only that far. No one makes the effort to reach the vijñānamaya and the ānandamaya. That is why eternal Ānanda does not come to us. We must go as far as this vijñānamaya. Vijñānamaya does not mean science. It is the very blossoming of the Ātma. Vijñānamaya. The Jñāna of the Ātma alone is Vijñāna. The dignity of the Ātma is Vijñāna. The Ānanda of the Ātma is Vijñāna. The dignity of the Ātma, the Jñāna of the Ātma, the Ānanda of the Ātma: the unity of these three is true Vijñāna. No one inquires into such a thing.
So if we are to enter the MBA, the meaning of each word lies in that very word. This they have called a padārtha. They have called it by the name mike. What does the name mike mean? This form itself is its meaning. The form is the meaning of a word. For the word tumbler, this form is its meaning. For the word kerchief, this form is the meaning. The artha of a pada, the meaning of a word: that is what they called padārtha. Padārtha means material. Its meaning is in that word itself. For what is called mind, and for man, the meaning is in that very word. Manuja. Manu means the one who was the leader of all Dharmas, the one who was the grandsire of mankind: Manu. That Dharma of Manu has gone on flourishing in this land of Bhārata. All activities go on in accordance with that Dharma alone. Because they are of his line, Manu; ja means to be born. So they became manujas. So in every word, where it came from, what meaning it carries, what form it has taken: the words themselves keep teaching us this.
So when, by right human effort, we achieve in practice the value that each of these seven letters called manager holds, we need read no more books than this. So first of all we must recognise this: I am a man, and I must have a mind fit for a man. M means mind of man, A Awareness of Atma, N Nature of nation: all of, of.. If we recognise well that all these are its fruits in this way, everything becomes easy. That is why, in the MBA, we must first of all become Master. Only when we set these seven right will we become master. If we fail to recognise the inner meaning of these seven letters, we become slave. We become slaves. So recognise well the inner meaning in these letters. Afterwards they will explain each one well, in its own way, and inspire you.
