Otherwise, that day, being scolded or harsh words keep coming our way. The moment you get up, it is essential to pray to God with a pure feeling. Each one must wake his own conscious. Only then do we enjoy Ānanda in every way.
All you students, we must do our own work. We must bear our own responsibility. We must live our own discipline. You must recognise these things. You may think, "Sai Baba is talking about business, about management." That is a great mistake. Not management alone: the moral, the physical, the dhārmic, the spiritual, farming, Swami knows all these matters. That is divinity. I have great proficiency in engineering. You are seeing it. It is in no map anywhere. I gave it to Jogarao, telling him, "You do it all like this and like this." All of that is what Swami did. How much cement they put in, how much metal must go in, how many of what must be mixed with how many: seeing to all these Myself. If someone falls ill, I tell Al Raza to give such and such a medicine. He wonders how Swami knows about medicines. The day before yesterday, at two in the afternoon. Poor Khayal Das was dozing downstairs. I told him to call Al Raza. When he was told to come at once, the poor man was asleep in his pyjamas. In these medicines too I am an expert. Al Raza has now named that very thing Sai Ram medicine. Half soda bicarbonate, half mag sulph: mix the two and the gas goes completely. It is astonishing: how does Swami know?
Not only in medicines. Education, engineering, law, anything at all, Swami knows everything. People say Swami knows only the spiritual principle. I am not even a spiritual scholar. Engineering, medicine or spirituality: never have I read a single book. All these people see it. Radhakrishna and all these people see it. Only the Sanathana Sarathi, if it is brought to Me, I look at. And why do I look even at that? Our Narasimhan keeps writing mistakes. I look at that magazine to point out those mistakes. Apart from that I do not touch any book. I tell many people, "Why have you got this craze for books?" The more you read them, the more confusion there is. All the feelings you have get scattered.
