In plain words

A lone woman. Some thousands of young men surrounded her. What will she do? She was in the midst of wickedness and the wicked, like Draupadī. What if there are so many? However many dogs gather, will they equal one lion? As there was a lion among men, Kṛṣṇa was there. What are all the dogs then? In that way she won through and came back. Once she held a Teachers' conference. When she was Director, all the teachers in Karnataka came. Do not mention My name anywhere, at any time, because teachers are of every kind. Yogīs, bhogīs, virāgīs and bairāgīs, all of them are there. Nāstikas, āstikas, yāstikas, all of them are there. To those teachers. I told her. "Address them; do not say Swami is this way or that." She spoke. "I will state my faith firmly, that I am not afraid: He is my Sai Govinda. I am afraid on no one's account. If one is afraid, one is no devotee at all. If one is afraid, there is no Bhakti. Let anyone think what they like; my Bhakti is mine. I have a mind. I have intellect. I have desire. I will follow my desire. I will follow my mind. I will not follow someone else's mind." She said it firmly. All these teachers were glad. Afterwards they told her so. They asked her to hold another conference. That conference went on protecting her in every way. Here, every inch of the way, every moment, wherever she went, Dharwar, Hubli, everyone there would say, "Sir, please do not go, bābu!" they would say. My Sai Govinda is with me; I will go. She called them all: Tell me, what is the reason for the strike? All these valiant men were there. Each for himself. Men they were, but theirs were a woman's ways of thinking. She was a woman, but hers were a man's ways of thinking. In that way she achieved it and came back. Men and women are not by their forms. All are actors. In a girls' college they put on a drama. A girl plays even the king. A girl plays the minister too. Girls play everyone. But only for the stage is there a king and a queen there. Behind the curtain all are queens. All are the very form of the Ātma. According to the differences of their upādhis, men and women, all are forms of Prakṛti. When weeping comes, they weep, and these weep too. When hunger comes, they eat. These eat too. When anger comes, he gets angry. She gets angry. What is the difference? All have weakness. All are abalās, without strength. No one here is strong. The Strong One is only One. He is God. So pray to Him whose very form grants every strength. The strength of Buddhi, the strength of the arm, the strength of Jñāna, the strength of Vairāgya, every strength is there alone. That is why they said "Īśvara". Īśvara means the very form of every kind of wealth. All strengths are in Him. So pray to God, remove your troubles, and live happily, with Śānti and well-being.
