In plain words

Knowing the tastes of the members of society, and the time, setting aside even your own interest, for society you should conduct yourself in a way that brings it good; do not hurt others, and do not be hurt yourself.

Churn milk and you can gain butter; churn water and, without fail, fire comes; the worth of useless words is nothing: never forget such a good word.

If you do not do the works that please the people, speak pleasantly and go about, sir; joining good company and seeing society grow, come to love karma, sir; leaving the nature of the beast, you must become Paśupati; being a man, work for the uplift of mankind; the heart that has compassion itself becomes the temple of God; the heart without compassion is itself a demon, sir; casting off ego, the slander of others and vile envy, if you do not let go of the feeling, "All beings have one Lord of all," it becomes fruitful; all the Śrī Sai Organisations become fruitful.

Out of full Prema alone happiness is born; devotion to Satya and sacrifice, and Śānti, are gained; where there is no Prema there is no welfare; this word of Sai is the true path.
