To make every effort, and to keep at it always, to learn great learning and become great, to till the land, to rule the round of the earth, even to take service: all is for the belly's food. Knowing the tastes of the members of society, and the time, setting aside even your own interest, for society you should conduct yourself in a way that brings it good; do not hurt others, and do not take hurt yourself.
