Then Dharma stands on two feet only. That is, all that belongs to the body and the mind cools down, and only the two called prāṇamaya and vijñānamaya move about there. (4) After that, from twelve at night until four in the morning is the Kali yuga. In this Kali yuga there is only one foot. What is the Dharma of that one foot? Its Dharma is to sleep, lost to the world, snoring away.
Brahmā is beginningless
The length of the Kṛta yuga is 18,32,000. The length of the Tretā yuga is 14,68,000. The length of the Dvāpara yuga is 8,32,000. The length of the Kali yuga is 4,63,000. Whatever all these add up to, they said that is a single day of Brahmā, and that when all such days are put together, Brahmā has a hundred years. So if we look at it in this way, it is not possible at all to understand humanness. Who is Brahmā? So'ham itself is Brahmā. The age of this Brahmā is without beginning. That is, for Brahmā many crores of years are a single day. If we think in this way, what is Brahmā but beginningless? That is why they gave the name “Brahmā is beginningless”; yet the scientists of today, claiming they have taught some great knowledge and grasped knowledge, keep fixing a time for this beginningless one. Now when they say so many crores, who among us has counted them? How much simpler it is to say ‘beginningless’ instead! The one who says beginningless is “a rustic”; say so many crores of years and you are “a scientist”. This is today's propaganda.
God is the form of Time
The Kṛta, Tretā, Dvāpara and Kali yugas all change within a single day. That is why Time is named “the form of God”. Because He is ‘the beginning’ of the yugas, the name “Ugādi” came about. God is named “Yugādai namaḥ”. God is the one who is with Time. God is the one who holds Time as the Ātma. That is why they called Him “Kālātmakāya namaḥ”. Because He holds Time itself in His womb, God is named “Kālagarbha”. That is why they said “Kālakāla prapannāya namaḥ”. The principle called Time swallows the body. But God is the one who swallows Time itself: “What swallows the body is Time; the one who swallows Time is God.”
