In plain words
All the decencies of society have sunk into the Gaṅgā; contentment has vanished from the human race; the values of character and morality have crumbled; humanness has wasted away among men.
Embodiments of Prema!
Human life flows on, moving through many stages. In every one of these stages man embraces Ahaṅkāra, envy and untruth, but he cannot foster Satya, Dharma and freedom from Ahaṅkāra. Man is turning his sacred human birth into stone. He leads a divine humanness and a noble life onto the path of injustice. Truly, human birth is most exalted, of fine character, of noble nature.
If we wish to pass from humanness into divinity, Satsaṅga is essential
The first stage of human life is childhood. In this stage man cannot tell the difference between the path of the good and the path of the pleasant, and stays sunk in innocence. But as man grows and grows, he longs only for the path of the pleasant, and gives not even an atom's worth of thought to the path of the good. Little by little he enters youth. In this stage, because the body is robust, the mind powerful and the senses strong, he forgets humanness completely, enters a merely physical life, and through carelessness lays his very life waste.
