In plain words

All the learning that earns a living they study with devotion; for the learning of Mukti, no one comes forward. How can Godhood come to such as these? Listen, O valiant son of Bhārata!

Students!

Right at the very start, Sāināth recalled well the special worth of education. He also made known the fact that narrow feelings are present in students. He said, ‘Sisters and my dear brothers.’ Why could he not have said, ‘My dear sisters and brothers’? He said, ‘Sisters and my dear brothers.’ How narrow! Today's system of education is bound up with selfishness and self-interest. As soon as students begin their studies, Ahaṅkāra, ostentation and moha have entered them, even before education. Not stopping at that, bad intentions, evil thoughts, wicked deeds and wrong opinions keep springing up in them like anthills.
