In plain words
You must rely on your own strength and develop the villages by your own effort
First of all you must develop your own village yourself. Then you must strive to raise crops in plenty. For if the arms toil, the belly is full. If you keep on working, there will be no want of food. Students today will not bend their backs to work at all. But their eating must go on in comfort all the same. ‘Ready for food, off from work!’ Who is that? The idler. ‘Ready for work, off from food!’ That is what we want. Food, of course, we need today! Students must take up that kind of life. Many people of experience have all come and gathered here. For two days they taught you well. But all these are things that ought to be done at the government level. But of the things that ought to be done at the government level, not a single one gets done. Everything is made to stop at plans. Apart from plans on paper, nothing is carried out in practice. That is why, when it comes to the work, they fail. Take one small example. In the villages they set up what they called Block development. For it they gave some money. In some places they built walls up to the top. Meanwhile the officer is changed. The new officer comes and cancels that very Project altogether. Because of this, the scheme stands stuck just as it is, for ever. How much money goes to waste through this! What success are they making, these people? None at all. In the end, what they call Block development is turning into Black development. The government does not take up a single scheme properly and finish the work. So you must not depend on the government at all. You must rely on your own strength and develop the villages by your own effort. Only when we develop the villages will there be no shortage of food, water and the rest. People can live long lives. Today even that long life is not there. When, at what minute and where life will depart, who can say! So, first of all, we must take on six advisers. Those six advisers will make our plan a success. Who are they? When, why, where, how, who, in what way: these are those six advisers. If these do their work properly, all our plans will succeed.
