In plain words

So for their rest I have to take rest. But what is My rest? The work of the devotees itself is My rest.

The Miracle at Brindavan

Narasimhamurthy said it. Last time at Brindavan, one day, all of a sudden, while giving a speech, I left the body. This Gangadhara Shetty and Narasimhamurthy were greatly astonished. Not everyone nearby could come in, you see. Only these two came inside. Then I told them: a woman who has no husband; she has two children. She, who thinks of Swami without ceasing, took a small job after her husband died and has been supporting the children. She had a heart attack. The parting from her husband who died was one sorrow; being unable to support the children was another sorrow. The money that came in was not enough for them. Suffering all the time with these hardships, she went to some part time work too. But her saying ‘Sai Ram, Sai Ram’ every moment was not like a gramophone plate. It was saying it from the heart. While she was like this, she had a heart attack. But unable to recognise it rightly, Narasimhamurthy said she had died. But if I go, will she die? She will not die. But for her it had come to the very point of death. Then what did I do? I took her heart attack. Right then, for 7 days, I was not coming down. I was not going anywhere. I went on living through all her time. All that she went through, I went through. I made her well. Three days later she sent a telegram. Swami! You came. You saved me. You saved my children. She did not know, poor woman, that I had taken her illness. After a week she herself came, bringing the children. To those who have such sacred, pure Bhakti, I am truly ready to do anything at all. But such sacred Bhakti is not seen anywhere. But they are there. One in a hundred, one in a crore, is to be seen.
