In plain words
Not by action, not by offspring, not by wealth; by sacrifice alone have some attained immortality. Whatever it may be, even your body, you must be ready to sacrifice it and give the divine message to all. If wealth is lost, it can be earned. If health is lost, it can be nursed back. But if good qualities are lost, we cannot win them again. Man today, caring nothing at all for good qualities, is scrambling after money, after comfort. What is this wealth? True wealth is divine riches alone. God's Prema alone is man's true wealth. Losing such true wealth, they are scrambling after transient, impermanent wealth. Truly, with firm resolve, strive for Satya. No hardship of any kind will come to you. Today no one is ready for that at all. Then how can God protect? How can God bestow His grace! How can God save you? He will never save you. It is impossible. So, if you want God's grace, you must be ready in every way for sacrifice. For pleasure, ready. For sorrow, far away. To eat, ready. To work, off and away. This is not the surrender of true Bhakti. You must go on proclaiming the divine message to the whole world. The greatest message of all is the principle of Prema itself. You must go on giving this Prema to all. There is no wealth greater than Prema. This very Prema is the form of God. In no circumstance should we let go of such a principle of Prema, which is God's own form. Once upon a time an angel was holding a book and reading. John saw it. 'Mother! What is that book?' he asked. 'Take it,' she said, and gave it. She told him to eat it and digest it. 'What? Eat a book? Digest it? What is the inner meaning of this?' he wondered. That is, she told him to gather up the matter in that book, take it into his heart, and from that heart bring it into experience, into practical life, and so digest it. To digest it means nothing but putting it into practice. Vālmīki said this in the Rāmāyaṇa too. Rāma learned the sixty-four arts.
