In plain words

“Seeing the One Ātma Is Prema”

What emerges from the level of the Ātma, the basis of the mind, is Prema. That is to say, Prema emerges from God. Prema is the very form of Satya. Nirguṇaṃ, nirañjanaṃ, sanātanaṃ, niketanaṃ, nitya, śuddha, buddha, mukta, nirmalasvarūpiṇiṃ.... These are the nine descriptions of Prema. Prema makes everyone one. “Seeing the one Ātma is Prema.” What flows as an undercurrent through Satya, Dharma, Śānti and Prema is Ahiṃsā. What is joined with violence is not Satya, not Dharma, not Śānti, not Prema. Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā alone are the chief qualities for man. They are the very five life-breaths of man. But man forgets them and performs many deeds. He has no idea at all what fruit he gains through these deeds. If he wants to live as a human being, he must regard these human values as his five life-breaths and nurture them. These are the very powers at the root of life.

Unity - Purity - Divinity

In the Tretā Yuga Rāma incarnated and nurtured Satya and Dharma; to carry out His father's word He lived in the forest. In that age there were only a handful of demons. Rāma rooted them out and established Dharma. In the Dvāpara Yuga the number of demons grew and Śānti dwindled away. Then Kṛṣṇa incarnated and nurtured Śānti and Prema. Now, in this Kali Yuga, God has granted every human being the power to protect Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā. God's command is that you safeguard these five life-breaths yourselves. This is the inner meaning of spreading them today. To safeguard human values you need not wait for God. That power is in you yourselves, so you yourselves must safeguard them. They are your properties. You yourselves must safeguard your property; will someone else come and safeguard it? God has given the responsibility of safeguarding them to you yourselves. In those days demonic nature was found in only a handful. Then God incarnated and rooted out such people. But now there is demonic nature in every human being. It grows greater day by day. To root it out, the very first sādhana you must do is to increase purity.
