But without unity, purity is not attained. Just as a stream forms from many raindrops coming together, purity grows only when there is unity. Only through purity is divinity attained. But today there is no unity, there is no purity, there is no divinity. That is exactly why enmity has entered your heart. Your heart is like a single chair. It is not a double sofa. It is not a musical chair. So when you install divinity in it, there will be no room any more for enmity. If you want to install divinity, you must bring forth your life-forces, Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā. This is what has been called Educare. Today there is education and nothing else; there is no such thing as Educare. If you ask, “What is education?”, some will say, “Acquiring knowledge.” Acquiring knowledge is not enough. You must put it into practice. Character alone is the highest aim of education. Concentration alone is the essence of education. Divinity alone is the goal of education. Beasts, birds, animals and the rest pursue no learning of any kind. Well then, do they not live? So you must, first of all, recognise the truth that education is for the supreme goal of life, not for making a living.
Educare Brings Freedom from Birth
Educare is the very bringing forth of the human values that are within you. Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema, forbearance, sympathy: all these are inner powers the eye cannot see. They free man from rebirth. The education that students learn today increases desires and brings rebirth. Educare subdues desires and brings freedom from birth. Through education, Rebirth; through Educare, No-Birth. Through today's education, desires are growing in man. Desires themselves are becoming the foundation of rebirth. Because Attachment keeps growing in man today, bondage grows greater and greater. Because bondage grows greater, responsibility keeps growing. Because responsibility keeps growing, unrest arises.
