In plain words
Even in the body of ordinary people the current goes on flowing. Because the heart keeps pumping, this current spreads everywhere in the body. If we join up all the nerves, small and large, in our body one to another, all together they make a distance of 12,000 miles. So when the heart pumps the blood once, that means it travels a distance of 12,000 miles through the body. We can give rest to any part of the body, but can we give rest to the heart? The heart has no rest. Whether we are walking or sleeping, it goes on doing its own work. No doctor, no scientist, no engineer understands this. Not only this: our eye looks small, but in it there are 1.3 lakh rays of light. Who put these into the eye? All this is God's creation! In creation there are so many such wonders.
Divinity Is Seen Only by the Inner Sight
Everything is contained in man himself. With your eyes open, so many thousands appear before you; but when you turn your sight inward, everything becomes a void. The eye was given to develop the inner sight, not to increase the outer sight. You go to the temple wanting to see God. But standing in front of the image of God, you close your eyes. What is the inner meaning of this? God is to be seen not with the eyes of flesh; you must see Him with the eye of Jñāna. Only when you turn your sight inward does the eye of Jñāna open. The whole scene outside is the reflection of the inner feeling! But you long for the reflection itself; you do not look at the original.
Freedom from Bondage Comes Only When You Foster Prema for God
The moment you rise at daybreak, you must rise with pure Prema, not thinking even of your tasks. But in today's children such a sacred feeling has become scarce. The cause of this is their parents themselves! If the parents rise abusing each other, the children rise hitting each other. So first of all the parents must give the children the right example. When he is born from his mother's womb, man has no thoughts and no desires whatever. But as he grows in age, desires increase.
