In plain words

Without Prema, the very thing called humanness would not be seen. You build up differences by outward shape, but humanness has nothing to do with shape; it has to do with practice. When you put it into practice, you attain infinite Ānanda.

However many kinds of learning one has learnt, what is the fruit? Who has the power to escape what is written on the brow? If evil notions settle in one's head, it withers; the intellect turns to stone.

So you must give no room to evil feelings. The mind itself becomes the man. Man himself takes the form of Mādhava. Whatever divine power is in man, that same power is in Mādhava. So it is not that man is one and Mādhava another. Because man has taken on a form, he believes that the form is himself. Do not put your faith in the form. You must put your faith in the divine power within it. You must follow that very divine power. Unable to recognise that this divine power is in themselves as ‘I’, many people are doing many kinds of sādhana.

Equality Is the True Vedānta

What exists in this world is one alone. People give it many names. That is why the Veda said, “Ekaṃsat viprāḥ bahudhā vadanti.” Look. Though the forms and names of the bulbs, tubes and mikes here are different, the current that flows through them all is one alone, is it not!
