From reaping the karma he has done no one at all can escape, brother! On what day, in what way, who can tell? That it will be reaped is certain, brother!
But if you are constantly thinking of God, no suffering of any kind will befall you. In the forests, in the sky, in the town, in the village, on the hill, fallen into midstream, wherever you may be, God is right beside you, at your side, and protects you. Wherever you are, divinity is right with you. Say Jesus, say Rāma, say Kṛṣṇa; call Him by any name. But God is one. That Prema itself is God. So no one has the authority to criticise divinity; no one has the right. All criticisms are nothing but false talk! They cannot shake divinity. Under the sway of this Kali age, people are going through so many struggles for money. For money they even take lives. Why such vile money? Earn the wealth of Prema. Prema alone can remove every suffering.
What I ask for is your Prema, not money
Embodiments of Prema! I may be troubling you by talking for so long! But this is no trouble at all. This is a great teaching. Those who sink down for lack of courage must be given the tonic called courage. The children of the “Messengers of Sathya Sai” association are doing very great service. At times they even go without food to take part in the service. But they should not spoil their health that way. “Swami is building such a big hospital in Bangalore. But we just do not have the strength to do service there. We are not able to help by carrying stones and bricks the way men do!” they lament. Saving much from the salaries they earn, without telling Me, they sent seventy-five lakhs in the name of the Sathya Sai Trust the other day. And the boys who studied in our college are working outside, in many places.
