In plain words

Serving the poor is my chief aim

Today heart diseases are on the increase. That is why a super speciality hospital has been set up at Prasanthi Nilayam, and heart operations are being done there for a great many patients. Up to today some thousands of operations have been performed. Through them a great many poor people have been helped. In the hospitals outside, a heart operation needs a lot of money. Just to have the tests done costs many thousands of rupees. Alas, where is so much money to come from for the poor? What is to become of the poor? The poor must be cared for, their diseases cured, and an example given to the country. Caring for the poor is true service. But today neither the highly educated, nor the rich, nor doctors, nor leaders, nor in the end even the government care about the poor. Kindness and compassion have gone missing among doctors. If they spend ten crores to build a hospital, they expect an income of a hundred crores. That is why the poor are falling into hardship. Today, in the fields of education and medicine, and in the fields of music and literature too, the craze for money has gone beyond all bounds.

Doctors, embodiments of Prema! Change your minds, and with hearts filled with compassion, serve the poor. If you are building hospitals, give up the greed that wants crores of rupees of income from them. However many crores you earn, what use is it? When your time comes to go, can you tie your money up in a bundle and take it with you? However much you earn, it will not go with you. In the very end you must go with empty hands. So serve with Prema. Above all, serve the poor. To serve the poor is to serve God. That is what will protect you. Dedicate your life to the poor. Serving the poor is my chief aim. I have no other aim at all. Come what may, we will work for the welfare of the poor, even at the sacrifice of our lives. You too, with such an aim, do at least one part in a thousand of the work Sai is doing. Offer to the poor the strength God has granted you.
