So You must ‘announce’ it this evening,” he asked. “Very well,” I agreed. When anyone does good work, I do not say no. Those who wish to do this must take responsibility and enter into the work. Only then will they make great progress. There are many ‘old students’ in Madras and in Hyderabad. I need no temples; I need no lands. Go on doing service joyfully. Help those who have no one to turn to. Give food to those who suffer for want of food. Do work that helps others. You need not wait about for this one or that one. If you need anything, ask Me. I will give it. But you must not collect even a naya paisa in donations anywhere. We need no ‘advertisement’.
False devotees are growing in number day by day!
To hear that anyone is selling Swami's name pains Me greatly. You must not sell ‘devotion’. Even the ‘ocean’ might give fresh water, but ‘devotion’ like this yields no fruit at all. Whoever they may be, do not let those who ask for money come near you. It is already very late. I ask no one for anything, after all! How would I appoint agents like these? Do not let these false agents come near you at all. I have no need of money. I need Prema alone. If there is Prema alone, that is enough for Me.
