Embodiments of Prema! Day by day education advances, but good conduct, which is the effect of education, is seen nowhere. What kind of education, in truth, should we pursue? All the learning that today's students acquire is worldly. We must join the spiritual principle to it. We must develop the principle of Prema and follow the path of Satya. Only education joined with Satya and Prema is true education. Education without them has no value. Material learning came into being for the sake of a livelihood. Spiritual learning concerns the supreme goal of life. The students' duty is precisely to bring these two into harmony. The world today has recognised how important these two are.
Today many people in the world teach the spiritual principle. Spirituality stands foremost in propaganda and preaching, but in practice it has sunk low. Practice from the heart is most essential. Learning that is not put into practice is the very root of unrest. Modern education has been called ‘education’. Spiritual education has been called ‘Educare’. ‘Educare’ means drawing out the human values that are in man and giving the world an example. ‘Education’ is limited to an acquaintance with books.
