In plain words
Never failing its order, every day in the sky the sun rises and sets: why? The stars that adorn the sky with light: why do they hide by day alone? The wind, never taking a moment's rest: why does it blow to sustain the host of living beings? The rivers, ceaselessly, with their babbling sounds: why do they flow on so swiftly? Wherever one looks in Nature, why is it nothing but delusion? Why on earth these divisions of wealth, caste, religion and race? By whose command does all of this happen as it does? To whose command is one bound? Who is the Lord? Come, seek Him out, and keep His command. What more than this could I make known?
Embodiments of Prema! In this world of Nature every living being, every human being, hopes for happiness and peace; they try to recognise what the supreme goal of their life is. But they are not able to succeed. One in a hundred, one in ten million, keeps striving without letup, with the determination to achieve it. Ordinary people, though, decide that it is impossible to recognise the supreme goal of life, and waste their time, forever chasing after worldly, physical and material pleasures. Food to fill the stomach... Sleep to fill the eyes... Clothes to cover the body... A house full of children... They rest content that passing their days laughing merrily with a bright and lively wife is itself the supreme goal of life. But there is another supreme goal of life beyond this.
