In plain words
Day after day, never breaking its order, the sun in the sky goes through its rising and its setting: why? The stars that adorn the sky with light: why this way of hiding only by day? The wind itself, taking not even a moment's rest: why does it blow to sustain the countless living beings? The river, laughing on without end in murmuring sounds: why this way of flowing on as water?
Embodiments of Prema! The world means that which is born, grows and passes away. God Himself is its basis! God, who brings about creation, sustenance and dissolution, has no one particular form. The five elements, pervading everywhere, are themselves the forms of God. There is no place without the five elements. There is no person without the five elements. On this very ground the Bhagavad Gītā proclaims in this way:
Its hands and feet are everywhere; everywhere Its eyes, heads and faces; everywhere in the world Its ears; It stands enfolding all.
From time without beginning, all the elders have gone on teaching that God is all-pervading at all times. How can we recognise the principle of such an all-pervading God! Each one, under a name of their own, has fashioned birthdays for God, and worshipping Him, they experience Ānanda. But God has no one shape; He has no attributes of Prakṛti. God is beyond form and name.
