In plain words
Through lack of faith he falls into many misfortunes.
‘As a flower is fragrant from the moment it blooms’
Jesus said, “I am the son of God.” That was all; he never said of himself, ‘I am God.’ When he was born, a great and brilliant star appeared to three wise men, and, wanting to see where it would go, they followed it. The star took them to Jesus' birthplace. There, seeing a baby shining with divine radiance in a small manger, they were filled with joy. The first one said, ‘This child loves God.’ The second said, ‘God Himself loves this child.’ The third, ‘He loves everyone, as God does. Between him and God there is no difference,’ he said. He who loves God is the Messenger of God. He who is loved by God is the Son of God. He who recognises the oneness in all becomes God himself. This is the inner meaning of the words in the Bible! The one you think you are; the one others think you are. The one you really are. You must recognise the true meaning of these three.
Once a great festival was held in Jerusalem. People took part in large numbers. His parents went too, taking Jesus along with them. In that crowd Jesus suddenly went off somewhere, out of his parents' sight. His parents searched on every side. When their child was nowhere to be seen, they grew very anxious. In fact, in the temple there a priest was speaking about God, and Jesus had gone and sat down there. Not knowing this, his mother Mary grew very distressed. That is only natural for the mother who bore him, is it not! Well, deciding to pray to God, she went to the temple. As she reached the door, there was Jesus.
