Today the number of doctors who advertise themselves grandly and wring a lot of money out of the poor is growing. In such a situation Sathya Sai has had great super-speciality hospitals built, and gives costly medical care free to everyone, from the poor to the wealthy. In medical service, nothing anywhere surpasses these hospitals. In these hospitals, medicines, operations, meals, everything is free for the patients! No one can understand how it is possible to give everything free like this. Many people fail to recognise the worth of hospitals doing such great work. We must feed the poor free, teach them free, give them water free. There is no other service greater than this. I hope that all the students studying here will take part in service like this.
In our educational institutions we do not take a single naya paisa from even a single child. We give higher education free. Outside, to study at such a level takes a great deal of money. But here there is no cost of any kind. To those who come here with Prema I give education free, with Prema itself. The Sikh student who spoke a little earlier tried very hard to pursue higher education. But as he did not have enough money for it, he took some small job or other. After that he won a seat in our college and took an M.B.A. degree without any cost at all. Regarding Swami's presence itself as his treasure, he has stayed on right here and does a great deal of service in the hostel. There are many more students doing such excellent work.
