Passage 10

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

If you believe in the feeling of the one Ātma, there is no death for you, no punishment for you, and no sorrow of any kind for you. You will remain just as you are. If anyone asks you, ‘Who are you, sir?’, you must not say of yourself, with the feeling of the body, ‘I am so-and-so.’ With the feeling of the Ātma you must be able to say, ‘I am I.’ Whoever develops this feeling of the one Ātma, they alone are blessed. Be it guru or God, for you there is only One; there are not two or three. You think, ‘So-and-so is my guru.’ But he is merely passing; in a few days he changes. Then who is your guru? All these are mere delusions! God alone is your true guru! Believe fully in that Divinity. “Daivaṃ mānuṣarūpeṇa.” So regard yourselves as embodiments of God. When you live your life with such a divine feeling, Divinity will surely blossom within you yourselves. Change the feeling that God is somewhere outside. Believe that God is always within you yourselves. The God who makes you play games, sing songs and act out plays in so many ways is One alone! You may give Him any number of names. Merely because the names change, Divinity does not change.

Embodiments of Prema! If you truly want God, develop the feeling of the one Ātma. Only then will you see God; you will experience God's Prema.
