In plain words

But they do not take it as a hardship. On the contrary, they rejoice that serving Me is their good fortune. After that I get up again at half past four. Then again I take the brush and clean My teeth well, take the tongue cleaner and clean the tongue on top, underneath and on both sides. Only when My tongue is clean like this am I happy. With a pure tongue I go on experiencing purity. Whoever it may be, with one who keeps the tongue clean I talk twenty minutes instead of ten. On the other hand, with a person who gives off a foul smell for not washing the mouth properly, I will not talk even two minutes. While we sleep, bacteria gather on the tongue, underneath it and on both sides. We must remove them all. Only then will our health be good. Not only our own health: it passes on health to others as well. With the tongue we must speak sacred words. Through activities of this kind I put My time to good use. When, having cleansed tongue and eyes like this, I go out, the boy who cooks for Me brings rāgi gruel. I drink that rāgi gruel with relish and enjoy it. On rising at dawn I take nothing. Apart from rāgi gruel, I do not touch anything else that goes by the name of tiffin. After drinking that gruel, I go to the bathroom again at six o'clock. ‘I have drunk gruel, have I not,’ and so I clean My tongue with the tongue cleaner. Then I drink a little water and come downstairs. ‘What is Swami having for tiffin?’ everyone wonders. I have no liking for tiffin at all. I drink a glassful of cold water and come down. Then I converse happily with the devotees. After spending time happily with them, I go up again. In this way, having purified My body, with a sacred body, with sacred devotees, I go on speaking sacred words. Then I also give interviews to some. At the time I give these interviews, there is one thing you must remember. By the time I come into the interview room as clean as this, some will have come there after smoking. Those who have smoked, I do not let near Me.
