By His will He can change everything. But God does not like to change things in that way.
Embodiments of Prema! Keep your love pure. Purity itself is divinity. Turn your personal love into pure divine Prema. If you foster divine Prema, you can do anything and see anything. Some wonder whether God's mind has changed. But God's mind is not something that changes. It is steady. It is the ‘universal mind’. At every moment it wills whatever is needed. God can do anything; He can change anything. In a single moment He may give darśan to everyone. He may withhold darśan from one or another. He may do that according to each one's mind.
Embodiments of Prema! Today it is most urgent to know this secret. If you know the one ‘divinity’, it is as good as knowing the whole universe. So recognise this one thing. Some people stay devout for a while. Then they change their minds. You must not change like that. When you stay with an unwavering gaze and an undeluded mind, God will bless you beyond measure. You must merge in God. You must be of one mind. Many yogis, wandering ascetics, renunciants and mendicants worshipped in this way with one mind and came to see God.
When I went to Rishikesh, Puruṣottamānanda was living in the Vasiṣṭha Cave there. Keeping a small lamp in that cave, he lived there by himself. He would come up to the road and, when someone passed, ask, ‘Give me a little milk,’ and take it. With it he would make tea and drink it. By then he had grown very old. At last he no longer had the strength even to go down to the road. That hill was very high. He would climb the hill crawling, with the help of both hands and both feet. If anyone gave him milk, he would keep it for a week. Then for a week he would go to no one again.
