In plain words
One who is full of anger is, at certain times, full of love. A man named Paul at first harboured hatred towards Jesus. In time that very man became a supreme devotee of Jesus.
‘My heart melted at the sight of the Africans' Bhakti’
The African devotee who spoke a little while ago has been worshipping and loving Me from childhood. He came here, had Swami's darśan, and longed to stay on right here. At My bidding he went back to his own country. Even after he went, he kept remembering ‘Baba, Baba’ without a break. When I toured East Africa (1968), many people came to have My darśan. Every one of them kept praying, ‘Swami, stay with us, stay with us’. Some hundreds of children gathered there. All their attention was on Swami alone! You know: a man named Idi Amin was President of Uganda. He was very highly educated. He was young in years, but he had many wives. He too looked on Me with great affection. Morning and evening alike, he would not go to his office without seeing Me. He was very tall and stout, like a camel, while I was small, like a deer. Seeing his Bhakti and Prema for Swami, everyone kept marvelling. As I was setting out to come away, he shed streams of tears: “Swami, from the day I was born until now I have never shed tears. But today my Swami is going away and leaving me, and that grieves me deeply”, he said. Holding a handkerchief across his face, he grieved deeply. His hands were very strong. Thanking Me, he took hold of My hands; he took hold of My feet. He gripped them so hard that afterwards it was difficult for Me even to board the aeroplane! “Swami! I will surely come to You soon. Otherwise, may You at least come soon. Otherwise I cannot go on”, he prayed. In the circumstances of that time, there was no chance for him to leave his country and come.
