Singing bhajans together is most needed to melt God's heart
Devotees must never, in any situation, let Prema go from them. Love lives by giving and forgiving, self lives by getting and forgetting. In however many ways anyone reviles you, beats you or abuses you, live with Prema alone. If someone flies into a rage and abuses you, think that it is God who has abused you. If anyone strikes you, do not abuse him. Think, “It is God Himself who has come in this way and is punishing me.” It is God who does everything. It is God who gives hardship, God who gives happiness, God who protects and God who punishes. Since everything is God, offer everything to God. Whatever happens, all of it is God's grace. Whatever situation arises, think, ‘It is God who is doing all this.’ If you look on things in this way, you will be truly blessed.
Will not the Name of God, which made even huge stones float on the sea, keep our mind from sinking in the ocean of worldly life? Our mind must stay afloat in the ocean of worldly life. Then it will itself become a bridge for us. Crossing that bridge, we will be able to kill the demons called anger and lust. So sing bhajans. In bhajan we must sing the Name of God alone. Bhajan is most needed to melt the heart of God. Singing bhajans together is very fruitful. When so many sing bhajans together, the heart of some one among them will melt the heart of God. Among so many, will there not be even one heart that is pure? So in singing bhajans together there is every chance of melting God's heart. When people rise before dawn and sing the Name through the streets, everyone wakes up hearing the Name of God. Hearing God's Name the moment they rise, they feel great joy and zest.
