In plain words
So students must regard spirituality as their head. In the classroom you must listen attentively to the lessons the lecturers give and print them in your mind. Beyond that, do not hold distinctions such as ‘This lecturer is greater than that lecturer’. If you give up distinctions and all of you are good, you yourselves can rule the whole country. So, with an even mind, welcome with Prema the elders who come, listen attentively to their teachings and keep them in your mind! This is the very thing I chiefly teach you today.
Whatever you think in your mind, that you must say in words. Whatever you have said, that you must do. Only when there is trikaraṇa śuddhi in you can you attain the form that holds the Trimūrti in itself. The oneness of the triad of thinking, saying and doing is itself true humanness. ‘Unity’ does not mean people merely gathering into a crowd. The heart, the word and the deed: these three must be one. This itself is true ‘Educare’. We need not search anywhere for ‘textbooks’ on this. Our heart itself is the ‘textbook’ for it. Go on following it. Only then will all of you become ‘good boys’; you will become ‘good people’. Those very ‘good people’ are ‘God people’! Only in the physical view are you students; at the level of the Ātma you are God, nothing but God!
Today Anil Gokak is retiring and going away. But he will come back. Wherever this couple may be, they are Mine, and I am theirs! This is the close bond of kinship the two of them have with Swami. All of you, being good, gladly welcome the new Vice-Chancellor, Vishwanath Pandit, and honour him.
