In plain words

Famed from continent to continent, the motherland that gave birth to great souls; having driven out the warriors of the West, the field of battle that won freedom; winning great renown for its learning, the land of Bhārata that showed brilliance; in music, in letters, in the sciences the divine land that showed the power of the intellect; wondrous with the arts of painting: having taken birth in the land of Bhārata, to guard the treasure of Mother Bhārata's Dharma the whole duty is yours alone, boys and girls!

Embodiments of Prema!

Bhārata is not an ordinary country. What does ‘Bhārata’ mean? Those who have Bhagavat rati are the people of Bhārata. For that very reason this land got the name Bhārata. Born and raised in such a holy land, learning many branches of knowledge, overcoming many obstacles with daring and showing ideals, the people of Bhārata are great heroes, brave and dignified. In such a sacred Bhārata so many hardships are arising today. But we need not be afraid of them. We must face them with self-confidence.
