In plain words
That is beyond the body. If there were no body at all, you could not know God. So you must see God in human form itself and experience Him.
Do not neglect the body
Looking at strength of body, strength of intellect, strength of mind and property, you grow proud. Ahaṅkāra and arrogance are never good. Sooner or later these are sure to bring us harm! Ahaṅkāra comes from power, too. But how long does power last?! Your own body will not stay with you. Everything comes and goes. We take such passing things to be lasting, and pay no heed at all to the lasting Ātma principle. Fix your sight on the Ātma principle; the body is not lasting. Yet as long as it lasts, we must look after the body's health. We must not neglect it, thinking, ‘This is going to go anyway.’ The body is God's boon to us. Only if there is a vessel can we fill it with water, is it not so? If there is no vessel at all, how can we drink water? So, if the body is not right, we become dependent on others. So as not to become dependent on others, you must look after the body with care. Until your time comes, you must keep the body safe. To the last breath, though, you must not lose self-confidence.
Ask yourself, ‘Who am I?’
Embodiments of Prema! We need not search, wondering, ‘Where is the Ātma?’ Wherever you look, it is there: in you, with you, around you, above you, below you, behind you. Without putting your faith in that consciousness which is everywhere, you put your faith in passing things. What is lasting? You must reflect on that first of all. You must ask yourselves the question, ‘Who am I?’ When you think, ‘I am a human being’, human qualities must be in you.
