In today's system of education money alone is Dharma, money alone is karma, money alone is the highest state. A little story. Though Śrīman Nārāyaṇa has the sixteen kalās, His power is unseen; but the visible Nārāyaṇa has the visible kalās called ‘16 annas’ (16 annas = one rupee). This god called the rupee has sixteen annas, sixteen kalās. The rupee is the visible Nārāyaṇa. From the time people grew used to worshipping Nārāyaṇa as money, the true Nārāyaṇa went far away. No one tries to learn His worth.
