Passage 4

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Pārvatī did tapas; she let her body, that is her outer beauty, burn in sun, rain and cold winds, that is, she wiped out her ‘Ahaṅkāra’; and so Īśvara took her as the half of His body. That is what has been called “sāyujya”, union. It is also called “Mokṣa, Mukti”. Humility and obedience must dance in Vidyā. Vices like Ahaṅkāra and envy must die down. That state may be called ‘Ātmavidyā’.
