In plain words
No one can see God except in human form
There is another class of gurus, far higher and nobler than ordinary gurus. They are called “Avatāras”. They bestow spiritual strength on others even by their will alone. By their command even the lowest of the low become perfected souls in a moment. They are the gurus of all gurus, the highest manifestations of God in human form. We cannot see God except in human form, and we cannot worship Him otherwise. Spiritual Vidyā teaches that in truth ‘it is those who have taken human form that human beings must worship.’ No man can truly see God except in the forms of the Avatāra as man. If we try to see Him in any other way, we imagine some most misshapen form and believe it is no less than the eternal form of Īśvara.
