In plain words
Spiritual Vidyā means the experience of Satya
‘Spiritual Vidyā’ in truth means ‘the experience of Satya’. Talkativeness must never be mistaken for the experience of Satya. The experience of Satya is what takes place in the innermost depths of the Ātma. In the present order of creation man by his very nature dwells in an embodiment. So we can see God only as man. There is no other way. If buffaloes wished to worship God, they would, according to their nature, think of Him as a huge buffalo. So if man is to worship God, he must, according to his nature, think of Him as a huge man. Man, buffalo and fish may be likened to different vessels. If all of them go to the ocean of God to draw water, each surely brings back as much as fits its own shape and size. Man knows God in human shape, the buffalo in buffalo shape, the fish in fish shape. What is in all of them is only the water of the ocean of God. When human beings see Him, they see Him as man. According to the highest reach of their own form, they can imagine those forms.
