In plain words
Students must be good people who remember the mantras and worship Mādhava
In the garden of the heart one must plant and tend rose bushes of God, jasmine bushes of humility and campaka bushes of generosity. In the student's medicine box one must keep tablets of discernment, a tonic of self-control, and a powder mixed of faith, that is Bhakti for God, and patience. Only then can the terrible disease of ignorance be cured. In the world there are forces that destroy. Side by side with them there are also building forces that uplift mankind. Students must not become dull creatures who worship machines and bombs. They must be good people who remember the mantras and worship Mādhava. Power is a kind of ‘intoxicant’. It destroys a man and breeds misfortunes. Vidyā brings merit.
