That which is not found though you pour out wealth in heaps, that Ānanda: reach out and take it. That which is not found though you wear yourself out on pilgrimages, that Ānanda: reach out and take it. That which is not found though you learn every branch of knowledge by rote, that Ānanda: reach out and take it. That which is not found though you hold your breath fast, that Ānanda: reach out and take it. It costs no money, it asks no toil of the body; there is no trouble of study or of sādhana and the like; give only a little of your mind, and then from Sai gain the fruit that is beyond reach, my friends.
