In plain words
Having eyes, they have turned blind; Your auspicious form they cannot behold; having ears, they have turned deaf; Your most enchanting words they cannot cherish; though the Lord of Parthi is in the lotus of their hand, they hanker after this miserable worldly life; though Mount Meru stands there, blazing with light, they go searching for silver and gold. The Praṇava that sounds in the heart of the universe: listen to it with śraddhā, till your ears rejoice; this indeed is the kalpaka tree that gives what is desired, and Mukti; do not forget so good a word.
