In this way the seers have told the births and the deeds of the lord of the heart, who neither acts nor is born, things kept hidden in the Veda. He whose play never fails sends forth this universe, guards it, and takes it back, and is not caught in it; hidden within beings, dependent on himself alone, master of the six qualities, he takes in the group of six as one takes in a scent. No creature of poor wit, however skilful, makes out the workings of that Ordainer, who spreads out names and forms by mind and by speech, any more than an ignorant man makes out the business of an actor. He knows the way of that Ordainer, the supreme, whose power has no end, who holds the wheel in his hand: he who without guile, with constancy unbroken, serves the fragrance of those lotus feet.

Fortunate then are you here, revered ones, who in this way set your whole being upon Vasudeva, the lord of all worlds; there the fierce turning round comes no more.
