A king who wanted nothing· Verses 4–6

।

।

Did the king of dharma cherish his people and please them like a father, having no craving for any of the objects of desire, through his service of Krsna's lotus feet? Riches, sacrifices, worlds, a queen, brothers, the earth, lordship over Jambudvipa, and a fame that had reached the third heaven: did those desirable things, which the gods themselves might covet, bring any gladness to the king, brahmanas, whose mind was on Mukunda, any more than other things gladden a man who is hungry?
