Fitted to place and time and purpose, and quieting the burning of the heart: what Govinda spoke to me carries off my mind as I remember it. As the Victorious one thought so upon the lotus feet of Krsna, by a good will grown very deep, his understanding was quieted and made clean. By devotion whose force was swelled by unbroken meditation on Vasudeva's feet, Arjuna's mind had all its stain churned out of it. The knowledge the Bhagavan sang at the head of the battle, which time and works and darkness had closed over, the mighty one came upon again. Free of grief by the attainment of Brahman, his doubt of duality cut through, nature dissolved and the strands gone from him, being without any mark, he was beyond coming to be.
