Verse 36

³⁴The unborn one laid down that body by which he took away the earth's burden, as a thorn is taken out with a thorn; and to the ruler the two are the same. ³⁵As he takes on the forms of the fish and the rest and lays them down, as an actor does, so he laid down that body by which the earth's burden was made away with. ³⁶When Mukunda, the Bhagavan, whose true story is worth the hearing, left this earth with his own body, then and there Kali followed after, the cause of wrongdoing in minds not awakened.
