20Enough of this much said of him whom no qualities equal and none surpass: Fortune herself waits upon the dust of his feet, leaving those others who beg for her, and he does not want her. 21And still: the water let loose from the nails of his feet, which Virinci offered him as a guest-offering, makes the world clean and its lord with it. Who else in the world, apart from Mukunda, is what the word Bhagavan means? 22Loving him, the steady all at once push aside the dull clinging to the body and the rest and go to that last state of the highest swans, in which one's own duty is to harm nothing and to be at peace. 23Asked by you who are noble, I shall tell here as much of the self as has been understood. Birds fly the sky each as far as its own strength carries it; just so the wise go the way of Visnu, each as far as he can.
