16That Pariksit, great among the Lord's own, whose understanding was not small, came by the knowledge spoken out by the son of Vyasa to the soles of the feet of him whose banner is the king of birds; and those feet are what is called release. 17So tell us that highest holy account of Pariksit, whose meaning is not covered over, settled in a most wonderful yoga, furnished with the doings of the Endless, and lovely to the Lord's own. 18Today our birth has borne its fruit, though we were born against the grain, and only by our attendance on our elders. Joining ourselves to the naming of the greatest quickly shakes off the ache of a poor family.
19How much more for one who utters the name of him who is the one refuge of the greatest: the Bhagavan whose power has no end, the Endless, whom they call endless because his qualities are great.
