Neither of the two forms· Verses 33–36

This is the gross form of the Bhagavan, which I have set out for you, wrapped round on the outside by the eight sheaths that begin with earth. Beyond this is the subtlest, unshown, with nothing to mark it off, without beginning or middle or end, unceasing, past speech and past mind. These two forms of the Bhagavan I have described to you. The wise take hold of neither of them, since both are sent forth by maya. As what is said and as what says it, the Bhagavan takes the form of the sacred word and puts on name and form and action, though the supreme one, who has works, has no work of his own.
