21Then, as he was thinking on the making, ten sons were born to him, who was joined with the power of the Bhagavan; and they are the causes of the worlds continuing. 22Marici, Atri and Angiras, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, Bhrgu, Vasistha and Daksa; and the tenth of them was Narada. 23Narada was born from the lap of the self-born, Daksa from his thumb; Vasistha came out of his breath, Bhrgu from his skin, Kratu from his hand. 24Pulaha was born from his navel, the sage Pulastya from his ears, Angiras from his mouth, Atri from his eye, and Marici came from his mind. 25Dharma from his right breast, where Narayana himself is; and Unright from his back, and from that came death, who makes the worlds afraid.
26Desire in his heart, anger from his brows, greed from his lower lip, speech from his mouth, the rivers from his organ, and Nirrti, in whom harm has its seat, from the fundament. 27From his shadow was born Kardama, the strong husband of Devahuti. So out of the mind and out of the body of the world's maker this world came to be.
